Title: A motion
Post by: Zuchegno on March 24, 2012, 02:01:23 pm
Owners,

I would like to make a motion.

For those who have one year left on the contract, if they were traded during off season, and the owner must announce at the time of trade to have it turned from UFA to RFA.  That would allow two times a year, one per position.

Reason:
To help the value of one year contract,  I have seen some trades fall apart due to contract being one year left, and other owner would not want to lose player to UFA following year.

Any amendments are welcome!

Of course this motion would effect next year because some of you already make trades, unless we agree to come back and label them RFA instead of UFA..

I like that idea even I don't trade much... It make sense because sometime in NFL, they traded and renew the contract but this FFL what we can do is change UFA to RFA. It seems good valid proposal.
