Bring back old system of RFA change from UFA in a trade for one year remaining contract only.
One owner wants to bring back old system that was voted last year to remove.
Allow UFA players to be changed to RFA with understanding it has to be in final year of contract and trade only. (2 per year, 1 per position)
Poll will be closed in 72 hours

Passed.
Will update the guideline.

This should apply to this year as it passed for this year- I just traded for Lynch only few days prior to this new agreement. Lynch should be RFA... It also applied to others who did trade with players with one year left.
Thanks

Ahh, I believe Ron said effective this year so should apply to all trades who have one year left on contract...

I will bring this to vote among owners.

After long talk with Miami owner. I think this is best conclusion for this motion will be applied to next year because this motion would impact TWO trades already made BEFORE this motion was passed. It does not make sense to go back PAST and change. So this motion will apply next year only. To prevent further damage in future motion using retro.
Ok with it Miami? @Stein (http://deffl.com/member.php?action=profile&uid=7)

Not a problem! Unless owners all prefer to apply all this OFF- Season :) Thank you for listening and appreciate our long fun discussion. :)
