Cubs and Belichick had the longest meeting whether to keep him or not despite to lousy last year. BUT Vinatieri had good reason, Colts was unable to move very much without Peyton. He begged that he will have good years ahead while either Luck or RG3 at the control of offense than Painter/Orlovsky.

So the decision had been made
