Detroit's Gerenal Manager decided to release veteran quarterback Michael Vick (saving $5.2 million) and tight end Aaron Hernandez (saving $300 k), saving the team a total of $5.5 million.  Coach John Harbaugh had been thanks Michael played in first three years with us.
