I object the word "after"  To be clear I do not object the trade, but Orlando will need to decide before the season finishes.

Their trade is based on either 2017 or 2018 first round so Orlando can wait till season is over to decide if Orlando should swap Vermont's 2017 or rather to wait n gamble for a better pick in 2018. Both agreed on either 2017 or 2018 and Vermont just gave Orlando a rights to decide which year. It will be either good or bust trade for Orlando, for example if Vermont 8th in 2017 and Orlando decides not to take 2017 so Vermont can go 12th in 2018. Cant decide during the season cuz need to know what seed Vermont will be in draft next year, makes sense?
